The Unrealistic Self-Development Trap So Many Feminine Souls Fall Into

Here's one (of the many) problems in today's society when it comes to growth and personal development - especially for feminine beings who desire authenticity, alignment, freedom, and connection:

There’s so much emphasis on things, including growth and personal transformation, to be linear.

Plus, we tend to get this idea that there’s some sort of “perfect formula for success” - when in truth there is no such thing.

And our growth and healing are probably the least linear things there are out there.

Here’s how it really goes instead:

We become aware of something, then we heal and uncover a bit. Then we go back to the original struggle and go a little deeper. Then we suddenly uncover something completely different and focus on that for a little while.

Then maybe we realize that they were both connected and now we see a new perspective founded on both…

It’s a process, an evolution, and it’s not made up of a ‘perfectly formatted, future-proofed beyond doubt, copy-and-paste from someone successful, step-by-step plan.’

So there’s one important message I wish every recovering ‘good-girl’ (who has spent her life being defined by the expectations put upon her and struggled with people-pleasing, overworking, and fear of failure) would truly take to heart:

You are already enough.

You are already worthy of whatever you truly desire - including important goals, impact, safety, love, and everything that you deeply desire.

There's nothing you need to be or do to be enough or worthy of what you want 🖤

Personal transformation is not about 'finally learning how to be enough.'

It’s about realizing you’re already enough. That’s the journey. That’s the motherlode of it all.

And so I know you can find millions of resources, tips, and solutions out there, but don't forget to let it unfold more than you push for it in order to avoid perpetuating some linear idea of what you "should" have, do, or be.

I've seen in my own life how I've strived for growth or progress and it led me down to something that didn't actually feel that aligned, or to something that distracted me from what could've been sooner, because it wasn't really what was meant for me right there and then.

But I pushed for it because I thought I could never reach the goals or the desires I wanted if I was "just the current version of me" and yet that's not true.

So, take your time, explore, let things unfold naturally.

Yes, remain devoted, uncover what's aligned and authentic for you, own up to what you really deserve in life. Uncover who you truly are, not who you are expected to be.

But from a place of love, joy, and intentionality... not from a place of hoping someday you'll be who "you're meant to be" because who you are today "isn't enough."

Who you are today is wonderful, powerful, and worthy.

The Universe just needs time to bring you what's on your heart, and you need time to get really clear on what that is.
